Cervical cancer remains one of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality among women, particularly in developing countries. Limited knowledge regarding risk factors, symptoms, and early detection methods often results in delayed diagnosis and low participation in screening programs. This community service activity aimed to determine the effectiveness of PowerPoint-based health education in improving knowledge about cervical cancer among PKK members in RT 28, Desa Pasir Panjang. This study used a pre-experimental one-group pre-test and post-test design involving 25 PKK members. The intervention was conducted through a lecture using PowerPoint presentations followed by interactive discussion sessions. Participants completed questionnaires before and after the intervention. Data were analysed using descriptive statistics, Shapiro Wilk normality test, and paired sample t-test with a significance level of p < 0.05. The results showed a significant increase in mean knowledge scores from 57.60 ± 8.20 before the intervention to 85.20 ± 6.50 after the intervention. The proportion of participants with good knowledge increased from 16.0% to 64.0%, while poor knowledge decreased from 48.0% to 8.0%. Normality testing showed that the data were normally distributed (p > 0.05). Paired sample t-test analysis indicated a statistically significant difference between pre-test and post-test scores (t = -19.43; p = 0.000). In conclusion, PowerPoint-based health education was effective in improving participants’ knowledge regarding cervical cancer. This method can be recommended as a practical community-based health promotion strategy to increase awareness and encourage early detection efforts.
